Dennis began his construction career while in the Army National Guard, working for a custom home builder in Huntington Harbor.
In 1967, Dennis and his wife Kathy began D’Ambra Construction, building it into a successful home remodeling business that still operates with a small family-business feel. Dennis works closely with his son Chris, on all remodels and custom home projects, to ensure customer satisfaction at every step. Dennis built D'Ambra with a one-stop shopping experience in mind, everything the client needs under one roof.
Dennis served as President of the A.B.C.A. (American Building Contractors Association), and is a member of NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry). He is an Orange County Builders Association Lifetime Member, and D'Ambra Construction has been named “Best of 50” by Remodeling Magazine.
Dennis and Kathy spend their free time with their children, son Chris and his wife Deanna, and daughter Tammy, and their four granddaughters, Gabi, Reagan, Josie, and Allie. With the granddaughters participating in water polo, dance, horse, and cheerleading competitions, Dennis keeps busy! He enjoys taking care of his '57 Chevy, and their three dogs and two horses. He and Kathy also support and sponsor the Red Bucket Equine Rescue and the Therapeutic Riding Center of Huntington Beach.
Since joining the family business in 1991, Chris strives to bring a familiar experience to all homeowners, working closely with you to ensure every aspect of your home remodeling project comes to fruition. “My main goal is to assure our clients feel like they are part of our family and not just a company they’ve hired to remodel their home.”
A licensed general contractor, Chris manages each project from start to finish with dependability, honesty and integrity, making it a collaborative effort. “I try to make a bond with people so they feel comfortable coming to me at any time for any problems either now or in the future.”
With much of the business based on referrals, it’s important to Chris to maintain excellent customer service, transparency, and quality. His 25 years in the construction industry and extensive knowledge means each project is held to the highest standards, consistently completing all projects on time and within budget.
Chris works closely with you through the design process and material choices, so your home addition, bathroom or kitchen remodel is customized and completed to your satisfaction.
A Huntington Beach native, Chris spends his free time with his with his family and can often be found cheering on his twin girls in their respective sports, competitive dance and water polo.
Brandon honed his construction skills first as a commercial framer, then as a Superintendent remodeling and building convenience stores along the west coast. He is currently enrolled in the Academy of Art University, School of Architecture working towards being a licensed Architect.
Before joining D'Ambra Construction, Brandon won the Coastline ROP Design Build Competition and holds the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. In his free time, Brandon volunteers with Rise 4 Hunger and Habitat 4 Humanity. He enjoys woodworking, archery, traveling, wine tasting and spending time with his children. His son participates in Junior Lifeguards each summer, his daughter is in ballet.
With an education from Coastline ROP in Construction Management, he blends his construction management and design experience to enhance the design process with the latest in technology. From beginning to end, Brandon plays an integral role in each remodel, exceeding client standards with his expertise.
